TERMS &
CONDITIONS
These Terms & Conditions apply to all in-person services provided by Tahlia Liapis (ABN: 14 172 952 427). Upon paying a deposit to secure your booking, you are confirming your agreement to the following Terms & Conditions.
Tahlia Liapis reserves the right to cancel any booking at her discretion and for any reason. In the very unlikely event this occurs, a full refund of all monies paid will be issued, and every effort will be made to assist in sourcing a suitable replacement artist.
BRIDAL MAKEUP
CONFIRMING YOUR DATE
A $400 deposit is required to secure all wedding dates and services. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received. If payment is not made by the due date, your wedding date will be released and made available to others.
PAYMENTS
Once you’re ready to secure your booking, an invoice will be sent via email, outlining your deposit amount, total balance, and all relevant due dates. The balance is due 1 week before your wedding - no earlier unless otherwise arranged. An invoice reminder will be sent 7 days prior to your wedding. Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, cash, or card (via the secure link provided on your invoice).
TENTATIVE DATE HOLDS
A tentative hold is not a confirmed booking, and must be explicitly requested. If another client wishes to secure the date with a deposit, you’ll be notified and given 24hrs to proceed with a deposit or release the date.
CANCELLATIONS
All bridal deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances of cancellation. If the booking is cancelled 8 to 28 days before the wedding, 50% of the remaining balance is payable. For cancellations within 7 days of the wedding, the full invoice is payable. Cancellations must be made in writing via email / contact@tahlialiapis.com.
BOOKING CHANGES
Any changes made after the booking is secured may incur additional fees - Including (but not limited to) change of location, change of start time, and the addition of any services. If your group size decreases after securing the booking, the original quoted amount will still apply. Services may be added, but not removed.
LATE ARRIVALS
A schedule will be created for your wedding morning to ensure all services are completed on time. If a bridal party member is late, their service will be completed in the remaining time allocated to them to avoid significant schedule delays. No refunds or reductions apply for missed or shortened services.
BRIDAL TRIALS / EVENTS / EDUCATION
DEPOSITS
MAKEUP APPLICATIONS & TRIALS: $50 deposit (per person for group bookings).
IN PERSON EDUCATION: $150 non-refundable deposit (per person for group bookings).
Deposits are deducted from the total booking price. Bookings are not confirmed until the deposit is received - if payment is not made by the due date, the booking will be released.
PAYMENTS
An invoice stating the deposit, balance, and respective due dates will be sent once you confirm that you’re ready to proceed. An invoice reminder will be sent 7 days prior to your appointment. CANCELLATIONS
Deposits are strictly non-refundable under any circumstances. For cancellations with 14 days notice or more, deposits may be credited toward a future booking at Tahlia’s discretion. If cancellations fall within 14 days of the appointment, deposits will be forfeited as a cancellation fee. For cancellations due to circumstances beyond our control including but not limited to illness, accident, natural disaster, or government restrictions, deposits may be credited at Tahlia’s discretion.
NO SHOWS
Failure to attend an appointment without notice will result in deposit forfeiture. Payment of the remaining balance is at Tahlia’s discretion.
LATE ARRIVALS
Arrivals within 15 minutes of the appointment start will be completed in the remaining allotted time. The client must choose whether to prioritise eyes or base. Arrivals over 15 minutes late may result in cancellation, with the deposit forfeited as a cancellation fee.
ALL BOOKINGS
MAKEUP REMOVAL FEE
Arriving with makeup on will incur a $20 removal fee and may reduce application time. If significant time is lost, the client must choose whether to prioritise eyes or base.
ALLERGIES / SENSITIVITIES
Clients (including models for lessons) must advise Tahlia of any allergies, sensitivities, or non-contagious skin conditions at the time of booking. Tahlia is not liable for any reactions that may occur.
HYGIENE / HEALTH
Clients must advise Tahlia of any contagious illnesses or conditions (including but not limited to cold sores, eye infections, styes, colds/flus, and contagious skin conditions). If such conditions are present, the booking may be cancelled. If undisclosed, service may be refused upon the clients’ arrival, and the balance of the appointment charged.
PHOTOGRAPHS / VIDEOS
With permission, photos/videos may be taken at the end of the appointment for promotional use. Content may be shared publicly and could be reposted by other accounts.
GENERAL
Prices are subject to change without notice. Quotes provided at the time of booking will be honoured for confirmed bookings only.
Clients are responsible for protecting their clothing and accessories during makeup application, as Tahlia cannot be held liable for accidental marks or damage.
Tahlia Liapis accepts no liability for injuries, allergic reactions, or complications that may occur during or after services, regardless of whether prior conditions were disclosed.
Clients under 18 require parent/guardian consent to make and attend their booking.
